Meet Our Guides
Our guides form the most important part of our team, as they will accompany you most of the time whilst you are on your safari. All our guides are well equipped with the knowledge, experience, qualifications and skills essential in making your adventure and vacation an amazing and worthwhile experience. All our guides are proficient in English, but we can provide German speaking guides on request.
Audwin Scobie de Wet
Audwin Scobie de Wet is extremely passionate about travel, expedition tours, and luxury safaris in and around Southern Africa; and still conducts various tailor-made specialized tours as a founding member of Evolution Travel and Tours. He has well over a decade of experience in guiding, and designing itineraries in and around Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and the Western Cape region of South Africa. He’s extremely knowledgeable about all aspects relating to tourism, conservation, and hospitality management. Audwin is in charge of multiple accounts for domestic and regional travel. He also eagerly keeps up with various places of interest, and consistently thrives to make our itineraries convenient for our clients.
Claudius Tickey
Claudius is an experienced Guide with a proficiency in several languages and possesses a strong love for nature and enjoys passing on this passion for Southern Africa to our customers in an exciting and educational manner, which will leave them not only with a lasting memory of the countries that they have toured but also of him and our company.
He has over twenty (20) years of experience in guiding in Sub-Saharan Africa and enjoys adventure. He has conducted numerous luxury tours, camping adventure tours and expeditions across all terrain throughout Southern Africa with people from all walks of life. He’s a great communicator, able to put people at ease in case of danger or fearful situations should they arise.

Eben Claasen
Eben is a veteran in the Namibian tourism sphere with a wealth of experience, having worked with many tour operators, destination management companies and activity service providers. He’s an extremely proficient guide with a ton of knowledge on cultural, historical, archaeological and geological topics of Southern Africa. He’s multi-lingual and is also well travelled, having spent a fair amount of time in Germany and Europe as a whole. He’s an extremely energetic, professional, passionate, soft spoken and kind individual who has over twenty (20) years of guiding experience. Eben has conducted safaris with various travellers from all around the world and specializes in mid-range and luxury tours safaris.
Ruben Hauwanga
Ruben Hauwanga is our Camp Assistant and Cook. He has well over ten (10) years’ experience in the tourism industry in Southern Africa. His work is always terrific and he is an asset to our organization. He has excellent work ethic and verbal communication skills and is extremely organized. He works independently and is able to effectively multi-task to ensure that our guests are well looked after.
